
Alberto De Min
Alberto De Min is co-founder of newcleo. Alberto started his career in academic research where, for more than ten years, he covered team-leading roles at CERN and professorship positions in physics at the University of Padua, Politecnico di Milano and EPFL Lausanne. In finance he then worked with Index Ventures, Strategic Investment Advisors and Lombard Odier Investment Managers. As an entrepreneur, before newcleo, he co-founded APM Technologies (logistic optimization software for airlines), SpinX-Technologies (breakthrough Lab-On-a-Chip instrumentation) and Preon Capital Partners (VC-focused family office). Alberto holds a MS Degree in Physics with honours from the University of Milano, a PhD in Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics from the University of Milano, a EMBA in Management and Corporate Finance with honours from HEC Lausanne. Along his career he has been a member of INFN (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare) and AGIFORS (Airline Group of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies) and has sat on the board of several companies with activities in technology and/or finance. He is author of 100+ publications in Physics and Applied Mathematics.
