The Geneva Energy Forum (GEF) is an independent non-profit business association comprising a diverse group of professionals and academics that share a common interest and passion for energy.

Launched informally in 2000 to exchange views, thoughts, and news about the sector between executives, the Forum has evolved to become a reference point in Geneva as it fosters knowledge sharing across the entire energy complex.

The GEF recognises the fundamental role of energy in global economies and to social wellbeing. It also recognises that fact-based science and economics are essential to provide society with energy that is affordable, reliable, and sustainable. The Forum is committed to improve access by recognised professionals to sources of expertise, and to facilitate business networking and collaboration between key stakeholders in the energy sector.
