Since 2019 he has been active in the energy sector as the co-founder of various ventures involved in transition energy projects such as hydrogen production, low-carbon intensity fuels (Hydrogen and Ammonia), onshore wind, solar PV, carbon capture and sequestration, and deep geothermal.
Alessandro Sanos leads the global Go-To-Market and Customer Strategy function for LSEG’s Commodities, Energy, and Shipping business, delivering market insights, analytics, and data management solutions. Prior to joining LSEG, Alessandro worked at PwC in Greece, focusing on the shipping and energy sectors, and at JPMorgan Chase in the United Kingdom. He serves as Managing Director for LSEG in Geneva and is a regular contributor to leading industry events and financial publications on data and market trends. Alessandro is a member of the Faculty at the University of Geneva, where through his course on “Data, Technology, and Innovation,” he empowers industry executives and future leaders to embrace and integrate digital innovation strategies. He also sits on the Executive Committee of GARP Switzerland, the ExCom of the Geneva Energy Forum, and is the Emeritus Chapter Head of the CAIA Association in Switzerland.
